Welcome to our Preschool Program!

The preschool program at Cook's offers a diverse and enjoyable environment for children 2 ½ to 5 years. We offer a wide range of experiences to meet the wide range of needs for the children in our care. The Teachers draw from their many years of experience to provide the best possible overall care for your children.

Highlights of the Preschool Program

  • We explore new ideas and activities to keep the children interested and exposed to different aspects of life.
  • We encourage the children to discover their creativity through art, music, and imaginative play – offering diverse opportunities to do this.
  • We provide consistent and fair guidelines and work as a team in our expectations of the children.
  • We have known and cared for many of the children and their siblings since they were toddlers! This provides a unique continuity of care and the ability to build strong relationships with our families.
  • We respect the differences of the children in our care and try to always integrate them into our Program.

Goals for the Preschool Program

  • To foster self-help skills (dressing independently; toileting skills; communicating with others).
  • To develop language skills, letter and name recognition.
  • Recognition of others' feelings; sharing; respect; and good manners.
  • Genuine enjoyment of the Program, their Teachers, and each other.
  • Learning, genuine relationships, and FUN!
